Breakout Session

This breakout session will be a practical session where the particpants will work in a wiki environment. For the purposes of the session, users will be streamed into two groups as follows

Beginners stream

Beginners are people who have not edited a wiki page before. This stream may also be useful for users who have done a small amount of editing, but are unfamiliar with some wiki features such as discussions, recent change and email notifications.

Advanced users stream

Advances users, who are proficient in using a wiki. Please go to the practical exercise page at Laying the foundations for an organisational wiki culture

Super advanced users stream

If you are comfortable with wikis and their application, please complete the Strategic Planning exercise This exercise examines the strategic planning process for implementing blogs and wikis in teaching and learning. Participants will identify and discuss planning issues and commence the development of their own "Blogs and Wikis in Teaching and Learning" strategic plans for use in their organisations.
